Coach William PaschalCoach William Paschal attended Delta High School in Muncie, Indiana where he was an excellent sportsman and academic student. He was awarded the Jack Moore Memorial Award for the best student/athlete in Delaware County in 1985. In addition, he was awarded the Beth Anne Craig Christian Scholarship for Leadership, Academics and Service in the same year. Coach William was varsity letterman in basketball from 1982-1985 as well as varsity letterman in baseball from 1982-1985.

Coach William attended St. Joseph`s College, in Rensselaer Indiana, from 1982 to 1985 where he graduated with a Degree in Biology (Summa Cum Laude) in 1989. In addition, he achieved the Dean`s List from 1985 to 1989, he was Science Club President from 1985-1989 and he won the Father Urban Siegrist Award in Biology in 1988, he was senior of the Year Finalist in 1989, while on the sporting field and he was Collegiate Academic All-American in Basketball in 1987.

Coach William attended Indiana University School of Medicine, in Indianapolis from 1988 to 1994, where he attained his Doctorate in Neurobiology. He was awarded a Indiana University Graduate School Scholarship for the period 1989 to 1994. he was also Student representative of medical science Graduate Council from 1992-1995.

Coach William and his wife Heather then moved to LaGrange in 1994 where he was appointed Assistant Professor of Biology at LaGrange College in 1994 and served in this capacity until 1999 when he was appointed Associate Professor of Biology. In 2007, he was appointed full Professor of Biology. At LaGrange College, he was awarded the Vulcan Materials Teaching Excellence Award in 1999 and 2006 and he was also appointed Chandler Professor from 2004-2006, as well as being elected president of Faculty assembly from 2005-2006.

Coach William served as the LaGrange College Assistant Varsity Tennis coach from 1995-2005.

Coach William is the father of Maddie and Allie Paschal.

Coach William Yin

William Yin was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan before entering Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama to pursue a graduate degree in Mathematics.

While in college, he was president of the karate club and served as the club instructor during his junior and senior years. He obtained his first degree black-belt from the Japan Karate Association (J.K.A.).

After he finished his doctorate degree at Auburn University, he came to LaGrange, Georgia to work for LaGrange College.

His daughter Christine Yin began age group swimming in the summer of 2005.

In fall 2008, head coach Cynthia Shonts resigned from coaching to pursue her career in education. It was then that he and other parents volunteered coaching the Troup County Sharks swim team to keep the team going during the search for a new head coach. As the result of the search, Coach Tom Fraenkel was named the head coach for the team. Coach Tom asked him to stay on the team as a volunteer coach.

He is ASCA level 1 certified.
